Wyndham Clark has big plans for the PGA Tour offseason!
The 2026 U.S. Open champ — who is in the conversation for PGA Tour Player of the Year after his BMW Championship win last week — surprised reporters at the Tour Championship with a glimpse of his schedule in the coming months.
“I’m going to be in Cabo next week,” Clark, 32, said on Tuesday, Aug. 25. “That’s my happy place. So I’ll be down there having fun. Presidents Cup, I’m playing a tournament in Japan.”
He added, “Hopefully get engaged and then going to South Africa for a tournament as well,” Clark responded.

After a reporter asked for more details regarding Clark’s plans, he added: “Hopefully, she says yes.”
Clark has been dating influencer and model Emily Tanner, 31, for seven months, she revealed in an Instagram Q&A with followers last month, according to the New York Post.
The Detroit native has been on hand at 18 for all three of Clark’s wins on the tour this season, from the CJ Cup Byron Nelson near Dallas in May to the U.S. Open in New York in June to last week’s FedEx Cup playoff win in St. Louis.
After his first win of the season, Clark shared on social media her pride about her boyfriend.
In a photo that Tanner posted on Instagram Stories, the couple shared a smooch on the green as Clark clutched his trophy. “So unbelievably proud!! Love you so much @wyndhamclark ❤️,” she wrote over the post.
Clark and Tanner hard-launched their relationship a month earlier at the Masters, where Tanner caddied for Clark during the annual Par 3 Contest. The pro golfer later introduced her to the world on Instagram as his “good luck charm.”
